North American Cable Equipment, Inc. Becomes an Authorized DIRECTV® Buydown Receiver Distributor

February 8, 2008 - Las Vegas, NV - North American Cable Equipment, Inc. (NACE) announced today that it has become an authorized distributor of DIRECTV® buydown receivers for the Multiple Dwelling Unit (MDU) market. Under this program NACE can make available select DIRECTV® receivers at deep discounts to authorized DIRECTV® dealers who deliver DIRECTV® programming and systems to qualified MDU properties. These receiver discounts provide authorized dealers immediate financial incentives to install DIRECTV® systems in a variety of properties including apartment buildings, condominiums, co-ops and gated communities.

"The buydown receiver agreement with DIRECTV represents an expansion of NACE's growing relationship with the leading direct broadcast satellite provider and one of the most influential players in the media industry", said Aaron Starr, President and CEO of North American Cable Equipment, Inc. "This relationship not only benefits NACE, but our dealers as well. Now the buydown program allows NACE to offer even greater incentives to our network of 6,000 dealers and installers. Plus our national sales offices and regional distribution facilities will make the delivery of these buydown receivers to our customers faster and cheaper", continued Starr.

DIRECTV® buydown receivers can only be purchased by authorized DIRECTV® dealers and must be deployed and activated in approved MDU properties within 90 days of shipment. Failure to activate a buydown receiver within 90 days or installation in a non-qualified MDU property will result in a financial chargeback to the dealer.
