North American Cable Equipment, Inc. Announces Pre-Pack Headend Systems with Extended Equipment Warranty    March 10, 2008

March 10, 2008 - Las Vegas, NV - North American Cable Equipment, Inc. (NACE) announced today extended product warranties for Cabletronix equipment used in its pre-pack headend systems. All Cabletronix products used in these systems will have their standard 1 year manufacturer's warranty extended to 3 full years. Products included under the extended warranty program are the CT-FAP860 digital off-air signal processor; CT-AMM agile micro modulators; CT-FMM and CT-SFMMM fixed channel micro modulators; CTDM-860 agile audio/video demodulators; CT-AHP agile heterodyne processors; CTPS-12 and CTPS-12 Dual power supplies; CTRC-12 chassis; CT-SAW860 SAW filtered modulators; CT-FSAM550 agile commercial modulators; CTADM-806 agile audio/video demodulator; CTHC-12G and CTHC-24G passive headend combiners; CTMS-16RKPS , CTMS-8RKPS, and CTMS-516RKPS rack mountable satellite switches; CTA-30 series of launch amplifiers, and CT-FANRK rack mount triple fan.

NACE's custom pre-pack headend design and assembly services are targeted to commercial operators of direct broadcast satellite and private cable TV network systems. These services produce complete, pre-pack headend systems ready for turnkey installation by construction, installation and systems integration firms. Each pre-pack order is treated as a custom engagement with design and assembly services focused on site-specific requirements. Complete headend design, assembly and test services are provided with Cabletronix and/or 3rd party equipment as required. All designs are documented, as are the results of component, system and CT3025 vibration testing. In addition to extensive system documentation, each pre-pack headend includes high quality RF cable and connectors that meet SCTE-IPS and Bellcore specifications. All connectors are radially crimped, cables are labeled and dressed, and all components are identified.

Completed systems using stocking components are normally ready for shipment within 72 hours after order saving construction firms and installers considerable time, money and effort associated with purchasing individual components and accessories. Structured design and extensive testing and documentation ensure system performance and integrity both at the component and system levels.

"Commercial headend systems are designed to produce revenue", according to Aaron Starr, North American Cable Equipment's President and CEO. "Unfortunately not every construction firm or installer has the time, experience and skills to build and test these systems for performance and reliability. The quality of NACE pre-pack headends ensures top audio/video performance with the comfort of knowing they can operate with virtually no downtime. Add the extended warranty on Cabletronix headend products and it is clear NACE is offering tremendous value at competitive costs," continued Starr.
