May 6, 2009 - Las Vegas, NV - North American Cable Equipment, Inc. (NACE) announced today the Cabletronix Digital Video Management System for the COM1000 HD Headend Solution in the lodging and commercial markets. The COM1000 is a complete and integrated headend system, leveraging products and expertise from Cabletronix and other vendors. This unique turnkey system is comprised of the following components:

COM100 digital headend designed to support up to 12 COM24 receivers in a single rack mountable chassis.
COM24 receivers each with two L-Band HD tuners allowing up to 24 HD channels supported in single COM100.
Cabletronix CT-QAM-RJ45 QAM modulator that accepts Pro:Idiom encrypted MPEG2-HD and MPEG4-HD video streams from the COM24 receivers via Ethernet, multiplexes and modulates them over adjacent QAM256 channels. The CT-QAM-RJ45 is available in 2, 4, 8 and 12 QAM configurations to satisfy the unique channel needs of every property.
Cabletronix Digital Video Management System, an advanced software application for system management, equipment configuration, creation of channel lineups, system status, etc.
Cabletronix CT-MS616-RKPS B-Band 6 input, 16 output satellite multiswitch with integrated B-Band converter technology.
Commercial-Off-the-Shelf Ethernet aggregator switch.

Each workshop includes classroom instruction at the component and systems level as well as hands-on equipment installation and service provisioning. Workshop dates and locations are:
