NACE Announces LG CodePlus™ Transcoder Program and Free HDTV Equipment Program July 20, 2012

July 20th, 2012– Las Vegas, NV. – North American Cable Equipment, Inc. (NACE) announced today a new addition to their commercial family of HDTV headend Transcoders. With system pricing up to 40% lower than other products in the market, the LG CodePlus™ PIVD100R has revolutionized the economics for delivering HD to Commercial Hospitality environments.

The LG CodePlus™ PIVD100R Pro:Idiom® Video Distribution Transcoder System provides an eight HDTV solution for system providers who provide satellite delivered content to commercial facilities (hotels, hospitals, etc.) The PIVD100R incorporates eight 100BaseTX X-Ports that connect up to eight satellite set-top boxes (STBs) from DIRECTV®. The PIVD100R converts satellite MPEG-4 HD programming to an encrypted, encoded transport stream. A Pro:Idiom-compatible television is required to view premium HD content.

Special incentives are available for a limited time including FREE 8 channel HD Pro:Idiom® systems for qualified activations through NACE.
