Missouri DIRECTV Residential Experience (DRE) Download and Training Center    September 06, 2012

September 6th, 2012 – St. Peters, MO – North American Cable Equipment, Inc. (NACE) announced today the opening of their St. Peters Missouri DIRECTV Residential Experience (DRE) receiver download and training center. This new operation is in response to the need for lower shipping costs for a DRE system, increased receiver download capacity, reduced shipping times, and training availability for DIRECTV Midwestern dealers. NACE evaluated DRE image download times, DRE system shipping times in transit, and freight costs for DIRECTV dealers with properties in the Midwest. It was determined with this new facility that 40% of the current transit time could be saved and considerable cost savings will be realized on freight charges. In addition, NACE can reach 80% of the nation within 2 shipping days at the most economical cost. With the rollout and need for DRE phase 2 training NACE can now support the Midwestern DIRECTV dealers at a more convenient training location. In turn this saves dealers considerable time and expense in travelling to Pennsylvania or Nevada for DRE training. The first NACE Midwestern DRE one day training and certification classes in St. Peters Missouri will be held October 17th and 18th 2012. St. Peters is a suburb of St. Louis Missouri. Jay Fernandez, Senior DRE Trainer of NACE will be conducting the class. This class will comprehensively cover the technical requirements for the analysis and installation of the DRE system and include a review of the D2Advantage Platform which is used for the distribution plant. The DRE Installer Training Manual, System User Manuals, latest newsletters and a copy of the NACE site survey will be distributed during the class. Other items covered in the class include: • DRE System components overview • DRE IP Network overview • MFH2 Satellite signal distribution requirements • Management Control Server configuration • H25 Receiver and RC50 Remote control software integration To register for the class contact NACE at 1-800-688-9282 Class cost is $295 and lunch will be served. The $295 class fee is refundable against one new DRE system purchase in 2012. D2Advantage SBCA Certification is a prerequisite for this DRE class. “The NACE DRE Midwestern facility enhances the value NACE brings to the DRE marketplace. Between faster delivery times and a more convenient training class location for Midwestern dealers, NACE has increased its commitment to the DIRECTV DRE program. The class has been developed with the installer’s best interest in mind. We use the time available for training in the most efficient manner and incorporate a hands on training that is invaluable,” said Aaron Starr, President and CEO of North American Cable Equipment, Inc. “Installers that have already been trained and certified by NACE are finding much better success in the field with this DIRECTV required training”, concluded Starr. North American Cable Equipment, Inc. founded in 1992 with headquarters in West Chester, Pennsylvania and sales and distribution facilities in Pennsylvania, Missouri, and Nevada is a leading supplier of electronics, cable, and installation materials to the security, data, satellite TV, CCTV, and related communications industries.
