New Support Services For DIRECTV® System Operators May 13, 2004

May 13 2004 - West Chester, PA- North American Cable Equipment, Inc, (NACE) announced today it is providing a suite of innovative support services to DIRECTV® System Operators (SO) serving the Multiple Dwelling Unit (MDU) market. Last November, NACE entered into agreement with DIRECTV® to become a Master Systems Operator (MSO). As a DIRECTV® MSO, NACE is responsible for the distribution of DIRECTV® programming services to commercial markets through its network of nearly 6,000 satellite TV dealers/installers.

Initial opportunities include the delivery of bulk and direct-to- home programming to MDU's. Services available to NACE's MSO System Operators include: System Operator Business Plan Review, MDU Property Qualification, MDU Property Technical Qualification, System Design Technical Review, System Engineering Services, System Testing Procedures and Review, and Equipment Financial Incentives. These services allow System Operators to better manage opportunities and projects, while helping to improve system profitability.

To expedite its MSO activities and provide timely information to current and future System Operators, NACE has launched a website dedicated to the DIRECTV® MSO program. Interested parties may visit the site at www.nacemso.com and request a site ID and password in addition to a System Operator application. NACE System Operators have the opportunity to sell and install complete systems with DIRECTV® programming to apartment buildings, condominiums, gated communities, assisted living facilities, dormitories, and other MDU-type sites. In addition to the announced services, NACE will provide its System Operators with special financial incentives, including commissions on programming, equipment allowances and equipment financing.
