6 Satellite RF carriers in the 174 - 2350MHz frequency range over
a single-mode fiber from the dish LNB to a FiberTronix FT-SAT-RX-6
L-Band fiber optic Receiver for coaxial cable distribution through
L-Band switches to satellite receivers. High frequency L-Band
satellite signals typically travel only a few hundred feet before
needing amplification, which causes noise, and is limited to 2
cascading amplifiers using coaxial cable, before significant signal
deterioration occurs. By transporting the L-Band satellite signal
over a single-mode optical fiber this distance will extend up to 12.5
